Leading in Berlin
Went back to the magic mountain with a local, Justin; a grad student from NYU who is here to get married, and her friend. It was good to get back on ropes, but I was lacking endurance. We did the following (graded using the UIAA grades): 5, 6, 7- (slab), 8 top rope slab, 6, and 7+ top rope. These are supposed to correspond to: 5.6, 5.9, 5.10b, 5.11d, 5.9, and 5.10d.
The grades seem too high, not s much for the easier ones but definitely for the higher grades. I would say we did not climb anything above a 10.
Some of the easier routes were super long (for a gym). It reminds me that we should climb two or three climbs in a row at BKB and TRC.
