Warm-up:
2x10 situps, pushups, squats
hang power cleans + push jerks (45, 65, 95)
"DT"
Five rounds for time of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps
KL: 15:45 (sub 95; R1 - 2:08)
First return to DT since I tried it out a while ago, still scaled it way down. Overworked grip and poor HPC form killed me on this one, like last time had to break up the HPCs after the first round (sets of 3). Deads and jerks went unbroken.
Seriously thought about quitting after 3 rounds but pushed through. Will try it with slightly higher weight next time (115?).

"DT"
Five rounds for time of:
155 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
155 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
155 pound Push jerk, 6 reps
subbed 95# (watch error: ~12-15 min?)
First metcon in a while and even scaled it was quite a load. DLs went easy, but had to break up the HPCs after the first round - mostly felt it as grip failure, but my technique was all over the place. My watch clocked aroun 9 min, but would stop during push jerks when my wrist bent back and brushed the button - estimating about 3-6 min additional.
Did some dynamic stretching at the start, and it really helped with squats and OHS - felt much more comfortable, no tightness in the lower back and much better starting ankle flexibility. Followed a stretching routine similar to this one; will incorporate it more regularly, especially on squat days.
