Warm-up:
court jogs
dynamic stretching
3x5 low bar back-squat (45x5, 95x5, 135x3, 185x2 then 230/235/240 x5)
Burgener warm-up
4x[3 snatch balance + 3 hang snatch + 3 OHS] (45, 65, 75, 85[fSB3])
Tabata pinch-grip plate hold (2x45#)
Squats felt really solid today. Kept the rest time to 3-4 min between work sets due to someone waiting for the rack, but to no detriment. Took a cue from Greg Everett and focused on taking a good breath and getting the bar off the rack in a strong, solid manner - really helped get the psyche up for the reps to come.
Recent technique work is helping the bottom of the snatch feel much more comfortable. Lost the 85# set on the 3rd rep of the snatch balance, just getting tired; should be good to go next time. Did hang snatches instead of full to focus on getting to the bottom in balance.
The 20'' on 10'' off plate holds were tough, burning by the end. Held all sets except the 7th round, where my left hand slipped a few seconds early. Good grip work.

Tabata pinch-grip plate hold? How do those feel. I suspect they do not improve your V02 max...
Went for a slow 20 min run with Ariane this morning. First exercise in a while.
BTW K, my rope has yet to see action!
Yeah, not a cardio kind of workout. Works wonders on the pinch-grip strength though! Or, at least, I hope...
I know, I'm dying to get outside and climbing too.
Stop dying and start living!
