The harder they come, the harder they fall

Quick but intense BKB session with G tonight. Went for the harder climbing early this time: V0, V2, V4, V5, V6, V4, V5, V4, V6. We were both pulling stronger, but completing the 5s and 6s were still out of my range - good to work the moves, though. Spent a while throwing the first half moves on G's V6 project on the back roof: start on the roof with two hands on a jug and one foot up, right hand double bump, left hand match, right hand on sidepull, then *big* left hand pull to a large pinch; we both kept falling short of the next move, a huge right hand throw to what looks like a decent crimp (can't tell you, as we never touched it).

Pulling power and technique are coming back, endurance and contact strength... not so much.

Static or dynamic? There is the question.

I think you had the right idea, which I never tried: move the right foot up to the next chip and pull your body up before the next right hand throw. +/- match before you go.

I think the answer is, as in most situations, a little bit of both.

There are many situations, where a little bit of both is not the answer...

Unfortunately, the problem will be down next time I go.

Gunks on Monday?
