Failfest
Warm-up:
500 m row (1:52)
muscle snatch + power snatch (75,85,95,115)
11x1 snatch (125,140,150,4x157 [f1-4],2x162 [f1],2x165 [f1-2])
3-2-2-2-1-1 front squat (135,185,205,215,225,230 [f])
Despite all the bombs, the snatches felt very good today. Good speed, no forward jump, staying on my heels better ... I just couldn't stick the catch. I know I keep saying I will do more snatch balances and OHS, but it seems I really actually have to do them for it to work. Started a bit late, so didn't have time to clean + jerk.
Messed around with muscle-ups between sets. Managed a strict muscle-up with a 25# DB and a bar muscle-up (only 1, the rest did not happen). Couldn't get past the top half of a L-muscle-up without tipping forward, so I resigned myself to doing negatives to figure out where my arms need to be to avoid tipping forward.

Is this your regular gym? I don't recognize it. Looks great though.
I wish it were, but I only go there once a week. It is awesomely enough known as the Brooklyn Barbell Club.
Way to keep at it until you got it to stick
Also, your form looks great there. Way to go!
