Getting there... I think
Today was the second day of the third week of training. The plan was 6x3x1:30 at a pace at or a bit under 8min/mi. That's a decrease from 8 to 6 reps but a 50% increase in running time (accompanied by a 50% increase in resting time).
This was the first day that really felt good, as if I am finally improving a bit. Although it might simply mean that the workout was too easy... below are my pace per splits.
1: 7:42
2: 7:55
3: 7:55
4: 7:54
5: 7:58
6: 7:55
My heart rate never passed 164. I am guessing that at some point in the future I should increase my pace for the medium-pace intervals.
Also I went back to Magic Mountain last night for an easy 1:20 hour of bouldering. Still same problem, bunch of stuff that I onsight, and other problems I can't understand how to crack. My index finger of the right hand is giving me a hard time. I thought this long break of climbing would heal it but it didn't. It now hurts permanently and A pointed that its slightly crooked sideways. Not sure what this means or what to do about it.
