Snot on the ice...

The weather cooperated yesterday so I was able to get out for my usual 10.8 km weekend route atop the Adlisberg.  The 8-10 inches of snow on the trails made it slow going and a bit treacherous on some of the steeper portions.  Not to mention that this is my first outing since gorging myself on spaghetti/veal for a week in Italy with A, and that  I'm just recovering from a head cold.  So there were plenty of snot rockets acting as breadcrumbs in case I got lost.  Ended up walking the last km as all that slipping and sliding had my ankles and knees complaining, along with some major muscle groups (although more likely related to the aforementioned indolence/gluttony).  I can usually keep this route below 60 minutes but even my abridged version was north of that figure...I'll blame the snow...

Hey Dan! Good to see you're working off the pasta. Pretty impressed to see you keeping at it through the snow...
