Down to threes
Warm-up:
3x5 situps/pushups/squats/pullups
dynamic squat stretching
5x3 low-bar back squat (5x45, 5x95, 3x135, 1x185 then 5x3x215)
5x3 bench press (5x45, 5x95, 3x105, 1x135 then 5x3x155)
1x10 KTE
1x10 standing plate twist (45)
First trip back to the gym after a tiring but awesome long weekend in Vegas (more on that soon). Pretty rough, but not sure if it was the time off, fatigue, or just hitting ceilings. Switched to 5x3 on the squats, the third reps were close to stalling on most of the sets - go to 220 next. On the last few bench sets, really thought I might find myself pinned (or swinglined as Talk To Me Johnnie so eloquently calls it), but powered through - will give a go at 160 next time.
Nothing like sweating it out under weight on a hot humid day...
