3x5 bench press (5x45, 5x65, 3x95, 1x115 then 3x5x130)
1x15 plate twist (45)
Simplified warm-up today, still nursing quite a few posterior scrapes from Annie the other day (yeah, ouch). Squats felt nice and solid today, especially the last set. Focused in particular on holding the shoulders and upper back really tight, which kept the weight steady. Finally getting a methodical groove back to the movement. Bench felt heavy but under control.
Saw two extremes of squat technique this morning. One guy (an employee, actually) was squatting about 105#, rocking forward onto his toes and up off his heels as he lowered halfway each rep - looked really uncomfortable. Later, a guy no bigger than 5'7" and 140 lbs was in the rack putting up 275 for reps, well below parallel with a smooth efficient motion each rep.
