Pool session
In preparation for our upcoming trip to Belize, M and I had the first pool dives of our Open Water scuba certification (with Adventure Scuba on the UES). All I can say is, even for a trad climber, holy crap it's a lot of gear!
Reminds me a lot of climbing in the need for safety consciousness, buddy system and checks, and a constant eye on your lifeline (air instead of an attachment to keep you off the deck). Really enjoyed it, despite the pains of being a noob all over again, and looking forward to the open water dives in the Caribbean.

Wow that image sure makes the point about the gear, although do you really wear diving gloves?
Sounds like lots of fun, although to quote E, "It sounded really exciting until you said: in a pool."
She's starting to turn into a wiseass -> apple pretty close to the tree, I'd say.
Hey! That's not true.
E, you're going to have to prove it by being nice to your dad and me. Good luck...
