Coda to an unexpected roadtrip
Warm-up:
5 minute jog (10:00 pace)
5x [10 squats + 5 pullups]
3x5 low-bar back squat (45x5, 95x3, 135x3, 185x1 then 185/195/205 x5)
25x [1 pullup + 2 squats]
15 GHD situps
15 dumbbell shoulder press (20#)
2x15 bench press (45, 65)
Drove all day yesterday to get back from Chicago, as airports up the eastern seaboard were shut down by snow. Don't know if I'm still tired from the driving or just in incredibly poor pulling shape, but the pullups were really hard to link together today: sets of 5 only lasted unbroken for a few rounds, then down to doubles and singles. Did the last half of G's daily challenge in single reps... sigh.
Getting the squat strength back, though. Still lighter weights but 5 rep sets felt more comfortable.
Total:
200 squats
50 pullups

Good job getting through the pullups and the driving!
Not that much snow here up north.
Funny, no real snow for almost all the trip until the last twenty miles. All the snow is near the coast.
