Went to Coles with my brother to make up for a week of stuffing my face and sitting on the couch in Indiana (If you're ever in northwest Indiana, I highly recommend Sophia's House of Pancakes - skillet with hash browns, peppers and onions, chicken fried steak, four eggs and a side of pancakes for $8!). Seeing as eating and rest are essential to strength gains (in addition to, you know, lifting), I jumped right back into a CFT. Wore my new Christmas socks for extra oomph...

Squats felt really solid, and I'm happy with the gains. Presses felt really crappy though, in no small part because my lower back was already sore after the squats. DLs were okay, but was shooting my hips and lifting with my back on the last rep (thanks to my bro for encouraging me to get the rep at 375). Compared to last CFT and previous PR CFT, good gain on the squat and slight bump on the deadlift, press going nowhere though; still, better than I had hoped for given the layoff.
