Depressing

Tonight Jess and I focused on bouldering. The plan was to do 2 problems of a certain grade and then go up one grade. She had no problems with her first 3: V1, V1, and V2. I did fine on my first 6: V1, V1, V2, V2, V3, and V3. Then the problems started for both of us. She worked many V2s until she finally did another successfully. In many cases, her problem was passing above a roof. I had difficulty with the V4s. I only managed to finish 1 out of the 4 I tried.

There was a huge group of climbers working (and sending) V6s and V7s, which made me very self conscious of my lack of achievements. So we decided to stop early and go for beers.
