Bon voyage burgers

G, B, JK, and I braved the torrential downpour to boulder in an absolutely packed MHPC for G's last city session before he heads up to the sticks for a month. I showed up soaked to the bone, but at least it forced me to (finally) climb in something other than my jeans. G and I got there first and worked our way up: 2 V1s, 3 V2s, 2 V3s. By then, Brian had arrived and we worked a few V3s before heading to V4s and V5s. We finished off the night with some ungraded problems that seemed to be in the V3-V5 range. JK showed up a little later, but she was climbing *strong*.

My favorite was an unrated climb that a lot of people were into, but it took Joana to figure out the start beta: undercling with both hands, right foot on a tiny chip and left foot smeared out, then a big dynamic step up to a right hand crimper; this was followed with dicey moves out right to a giant yellow feature, then an indecipherable sequence past a giant blue sloper. Overall, good, crimpy session - felt comfortable into the V3 range, and the V4-5 range felt workable.

Closed it out with a burger and beer at 5 Napkin Burger, along with some excellent deep fried pickles and pastrami. The conversation was upgraded from pedophile jokes towards topics pulled from the deep, dark corners of the internet (including Guillaume's preferred method of inducing lactation).
