A bit faster... ouch.
This morning I wanted to work on improving my speed. I kept on hesitating on my goal though: 2, 3, or 4 miles at 8 or 8:30 min/mi. Usually I do my slow pace run at 9 or above, and my medium pace intervals are at most 3 minutes (not even half a mile).
I ended up doing 3 miles at 8 min/mi. It was quite challenging for me. It was the first day in a while that felt like my old self: i.e. running sucks, and I suck at it. Not sure if its the pace or the hills here that got to me, but there's work to be done...
