Roping up
Since ice season is undeniably winding down - snow outside my window notwithstanding - it's time to get ready for rock season. G and I agreed to start incorporating more TR/lead climbing into our biweekly sessions. Started tonight at a quiet BKB:
lead: 5.8, 5.8, 5.9
boulder: V4(f), V6, V3
Gotta admit, even the 8s and 9s felt like work. The routes at BKB are short and generally have non-ideal clipping stances, but nice to get the practice in.

Arrrrrgh, I can't believe I couldn't finish that 6! But getting back on ropes was good. Definitely need to do it more.
