Warm-up:
dynamic squat stretching
3x5 low-bar back squat (5x45, 5x95, 3x135, 1x185 then 3x5x210)
3x5 bench press (5x95, 3x115, 1x135 then 3x5x150 [s2: dna4-5, s3:dna])
1x10 KTE
1x10 decline situp
Return to the gym after a few weeks off (Memorial Day weekend, work, etc.). Rough, but not as bad as I had feared. Squats were heavy, almost stalling out on reps. Bench felt tough the first set, and I bailed on the last reps of the second set - didn't want to risk a stupid injury.
Will switch to 5x3 and see if I can ratchet up. Tried some db bench presses while waiting for the things to open up this morning, tends to aggravte my longstanding right shoulder issues. Will consider rolling back to more overhead press work.
