Coles climbing
Jess and I went to Coles to climb where we met Will who was working. We climbed some nice problems. An orange on the right wall that finishes high with a stretch. I was impressed that Jess did it as she usually does not like finishing that high.
I also did a nice blue on white on the same wall that I had failed to finish before. It moves right, you need to match on the brain and then move very high to a piece that barely has anything on it. The trick is to make the most of the friction on the brain and the crappy right hand by using your balance and your feet. Once past that section the rest is straightforward.
Finally I did a red that starts on the left wall and then moves to the center wall. It uses a big hold/feature that is meant to screw other holds onto it but you cannot use any of the holds that are on it (unlike what someone had told me on a prior visit). It requires a good amount of arm/shoulder strength. Fun problem.
