Metcondiculous

Warm-up:
dynamic squat stretching
dumbbell clean and jerks

10, 9, 8, 7, 6 reps for time of:
dumbbell clean and jerks (2x35#)
push-ups
13:05

2 rounds of:
10 reverse crunches
10 box jumps (~30")

Was going to squat and press today, but the only squat rack in the gym was taken so I worked in a little aerobic work instead - was planning on rolling over into a more balanced strength/metcon cycle soon anyways.

Based this workout on a recent one posted at Crossfit Virtuosity, but truncated it at 5 rounds when the tunnel vision started setting in. Really have to get back my conditioning, I was quite gassed a few rounds in - push-ups felt ok but had to break C+Js into 2 or 3 sets each round.

Hey Kenway, what are "dynamic squat stretching"?

Not as fancy as it sounds, it's just stretching that involves active motion rather than static stretching while holding joints locked. The NY Times has an article here.

I follow a similar routine to the one posted here.
