Did yesterday's CF WOD 080309
"Lynne"
Five rounds for max reps of:
Body-weight bench press (subbed 135# = 71% BW)
pull-ups (strict)
SS: 13/11, 8/7, 8/6, 6/5, 6/4
KL: 10/11, 9/7, 6/6, 5/4, 4/5
ED: 15/5, 9/5, 6/4, 7/4, 4/4
And then 3x10 squats
SS: 135, 2x155
KL: 155, 2x165
ED: 155, 165, 185
A good workout today. Our first round on the bench should max out at around 8 reps so I think we'll need a weight increase next time (Eric had 15!). Squats were surprisingly metabolic. HR got pretty damn high towards the end there.

Previous attempts here and here . Noticed that we actually dropped weight on this one. Whoops.
Wow, felt weak today. Bench is clearly lacking, and I think a little regular work (ladders, push-ups) is in order.
Don't know if the pull-ups suffered from climbing yesterday, but the dropoff after the first round was precipitous.
Should have increased the weight on the last round of squats, though.
Speaking of heart rate, I was in the low to high 130s in the midst of the "cool-down" squats. The combination of max reps and multiple muscle groups clearly generates a metabolic load.
