Warm-up:
snatch technique
strict muscle-ups
Lifted at Crossfit Metropolis in the brutal humidity and heat without an AC. It was fun.
snatch (to singles at 145; missed 2/3, so I quit)
6x4 halting clean deadlift (ramp up to 265#)
mini-Mary (AMRAP in 10 min):
5 handstand pushups
10 pistols (5 per leg)
15 pullups
BL: 3 rounds + 5 HSPUs + 10 pistols + 2 pullups
This is maybe my fifth time back to the gym. Been working slowly back into the grind with a simple program. I just snatch to a heavy single, and then drop 25# for a few more reps. Finish off with sets of front squats if feeling strong, and usually strict muscle-ups.
Also went to the Brooklyn Barbell club last weekend. Same deal; everything still feels super heavy, and I feel super-slow, but things are coming back. I had a lot of fun with some atlas stones. Shoulder the 135# stone fairly easily. Will give the 165# stone a go next weekend. Hope I don't drop it on my foot.

Welcome back, B. Some things change but it's nice to know gravity's always the same...
Atlas stones look super fun, but really dangerous, both for you foot and your back...
