On the DL
warmup:
3 rounds of 10 each: pullups, squats, pushups
then,
2x3 deadlift, 135
workout:
7x3 deadlift: 225, 245, 255, 265, 3x275
cooldown:
barbell complex, 60#
Nice to get back to some deads. The first 3 sets were done with a standard grip, the last four with a mixed grip. Despite having improved my squat form to work the hamstrings, I felt a lot of unfamiliar pulling on those first few rounds. I probably should have warmed up a little more, but it ended up being fine.
There was a guy next to me doing deadlifts too. He had ok form, except his upper body would lean forward on the initial pull, and then straighten as the bar crossed his knees. I know he knew better, because when he did it with the 22# bar it was not an issue at all. I considered giving him pointers but thought it might be a breach of gym etiquette. Thoughts?

I never bother with the other people in my gym. But then again, you are probably more patient than me...
