OHS's were a lot of fun. Got to really work on getting the butt down and focused on some technique. The sprint and walking lunges were all Kenway's idea and they ended up hurting quite a bit. Starting the second round I don't think you could even call them sprints. Legs are definitely going to feel it tomorrow. Though I suppose we should consider ourselves lucky. He had considered doing it with dumbbells.

Awesome. I've got OHSs penciled in for tomorrow.
Did you guys sprint on the track?
Are we gonna climb this weekend?
Man, those OHSs were tougher than I remebered, even holding the weight overhead seemed heavy and tough. Mostly need to get the balance and core strength back...
Up for Sunday at New Rochelle?
Oh, we sprinted on the volleyball courts, down one way with sprints (or more accurately, jogs by the end) and walking lunges back. Total slow motion race with those lunges...
Sunday sounds good. Can we do the early thing again?
I've realized that I've got half the time I thought to finish my NRSA so I won't be able to make it to the climbing gym (again). It's due on 12/8, but it's due to OSP on 12/5, which means I need to finish it by then. I'll be working all weekend. Have fun with the OHSs today though.
I can go as early as we can get it together...
Cool.
On another topic, have you handled any of the Cilogear bags. They look pretty good and configurable, but I can't find any pictures of the shoulder straps and hipbelt.
Nope. They look pretty cool and stripped down, though the compression system looks a mite complicated.
They're pretty much one guy making them in house, so I don't know where to get my hands on one. Best bet might be to ask around at the gym or post up on gunks.com or rockclimbing.com.

Did you see their picasa album? Some pics there, it's linked from the cilogear blog. Also info from gunks.com...
Correction: they design inhouse, but apparently construction is outsourced to Turkey
Yeah, the construction is outsourced to a well-known (apparently) maker. The guy operates out of Brooklyn, and I emailed the owner and he said it was cool to stop by and have a look. The modularity of the bags is really appealing, so I'll probably swing by next week. Let me know if you are interested.
Did you see the Dyneema version? Sweet!
Let me know when you go, would love to have a looksee. The Dyneema pack is ridiculous, it's gotta be marketed to people with expedition sponsorship, to compete with other makers' similar bags (Wild Things has a Spectra version of their Andinista bag)
