Upper Work

Tried something different today

3 rounds for max reps of each exercise:
Overhead Press 95#
KTE
Dips (subbed push-ups round 2 & 3)
Pull-ups

OP
SS: 10,7,6
ED: 10,6,6

KTE
SS: 16,15,15
ED: 12,11,9

Dip (push-up)
SS: 12,(17),(19)
ED: 20,(22),(17)

pull-up
SS: 11,11,8
ED: 15,13,14

Arms really hurt after this one. I'd like to bring your attention to Eric's awesome pull-up scores. Way to go! I need to start working on these more or he'll totally leave me behind. Doing these for max reps was pretty painful, but it's good on some level to run right up to the edge of failure. Rests were varied, but we typically didn't take too long between exercises. I was definitely out of breath at the end of it all.

WTF Eric? Doing pullups in secret?

Not too much rest. The first round we basically pushed through, each person doing a different exercise. After that we both did the same exercise and rested while the other did the set. A few times there was an extra 30 sec break before starting the set.

It really taxed the arms though, which is what we were going for.
