20 pullups
30 pushups

with 3 minutes rest between rounds
SS: 38:30 (5:00, 7:30, 8:20, 9:50, 7:50)
whew. I've finally finished this damn workout. My knee started tweaking during the squats in the 4th set so I had to slow down and take it easy. Pretty much all sets broken except the first set of situps. Was pretty good (or bad) at getting half the required reps out unbroken, but suffered for it for the rest of the round. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get to full height on the last 2-3 pullups of set 4 and 5 either. A good workout though.

I noticed that the last time you and Kenway did this you guys also took 3 minutes between rounds. Is that as Rx'd? Rest time doesn't add to round total does it?

Yeah, the rest time is Rx'd. Actually, when I was posting mine I noticed you didn't include the rest time. You did yours straight though? Holy shit man. Strong work.
And no, rest time doesn't add to the round total either. I was using a standard clock face, so I'd check the time when I finished and then write down the time when I'd have to start again. Three minutes sure went by fast though.
I looked up the archives last night and Barbara has undergone some evolution. It was introduced with 5 minute rests between rounds on 071303. People turned in ridiculous times. A new version appeared 092703 with 3 minute rests between rounds. And finally, the 'no rest between rounds' version showed up 032004. I did the 'no rest' version only because I didn't know about the others ...

yeah, no kidding. Oh well, I finally finished Barbara so I guess it's time to do it with no rests now anyway :)
With the 4 rounds of 3 minute rest, my new time would be 50:30
I think you should keep the time as is. Each of the Barbara variants is worth trying; variable rest between rounds is like tweaking the work:rest ratio in intervals. You're allowing different metabolic pathways to recover. Barbara without rest is more of a grinder; Barbara with 5 minutes is more like sprinting (or fast running rather).
