Spring fever
+
Spent a couple of sunny but still surprisingly chilly hours playing in the first game of the season for the deftly-monikered CNS/Psych softball team (Baseballganglia). Bit of a rough outing, we need a little more defensive coordination and a little more patience at the plate.
Definitely nice to get outdoors moving around again, though. The rust is still coming off, but there are old habits underneath that I think are still there. I'm just happy I didn't pull a hamstring or roll an ankle playing on an asphalt field, and I proudly managed to ding a taxi entering the Midtown tunnel on a deep fly ball (apologies to the cabbie).
