Morning meeting

Warm-up:
dynamic squat stretching

back squat
KL: 3x5 low-bar (95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2 then 3x240)
GF: 4x2 high-bar (95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2x4)

bench press
KL: 1x5 (65x5, 95x5, 135x3 then 1x145)
GF: (115x5, 135x5, 145x3, 155x1, 165x5, 165x3)

Getting in a schedule of just getting in. Tried to minimize working my right hand; tweaked my grip in the climbing gym last night (two-finger pocket on a roof), I think it's just a flexor digitorum muscle strain and not a tendon injury or pulley tear.

In any case, squats felt really solid today, much better than last time. G helped me work out an issue I've noticed on and off but could never figure out - sometimes I come off the rack with the bar sightly tilted, down to the left. Usually notice it when the plates on the right bump the bars at the bottom of the squat. Almost a stall in the last rep of rounds 2 and 3 - go to 245 next session. We worked on getting G, who was high-bar squatting, deeper at the bottom, and he was looking much more steady.

Couldn't bench without stressing my right hand grip, so cut it off at one set. Am going to take a rest from climbing or pulling (deadlifts, pullups, Oly work) for a few weeks; more suqats for me, I guess.

Squats 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2 4 times.

Bench 115x5, 135x5, 145x3, 155x1, 165x5, 165x3.

Tried to cut the ibuprophen yesterday, but the pain came roaring back this morning, so I guess I still have a few more days to go.
