Knee-high love

Warm-up:
dynamic squat stretching

3x5 shoulder press (45x5, 75x5, 85x2 then 3x90)
1x5 deadlift (135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x2 then 1x300)

1x15 bench press (85)
7x[1 HPC + 3 front squat] (45, 65, 2x95, 105, 115, 125)

20 overhead lunges (45 plate)
10 standing plate twist (45)
20 decline situps

Must have gotten up too early today, screwed up my press warmup weights and almost fell over on a weighted lunge. On the bright side, started lifting with high socks again - mostly a mental thing, but it does allow me to pull a little closer on the bottom of the deads (and they look so hip).

Press felt good at 90, will go to 95. Deads very solid (musta been the socks), normal grip was fine - to 305. Added a little Oly work, but need to work on form a little - 2nd pull is pretty rusty. Man, I'm beat.

sexy legs! So do you think the knee highs help because of actual compression or is it more like a mental assist?

Totally mental.

Though not worrying about the shins makes it easier to start and keep the deadlifts consistently, properly close to the legs.

That's a good point. Our shins would look pretty gnarly after a good deadlift/snatch/clean session.
