Deads & benches

warmup DL to 185 (5x5: 45, 95, 115, 135, 185), afterwards BP to 95 (2x5: 45,95)

deadlift 5-5-3-3-3-1-1 (205, 225, 245, 265, 275, 295, 305)
bench press 5-5-3-3-3-1-1 (115, 125, 135, 145(f3), 140, 150, 150(f))

I had thought I would practice for Linda today, but I didn't quite make it to the cleans.
Deadlifts were difficult, but manageable. Worked primarily on keeping my knees stable and ankles supported. At higher weights my knees would still wobble a little, but my ankles kept good support. The benches were another story altogether. The first fail at 145 was fine in that I was able to rerack it myself. The fail at 150 was far more hilarious. I ended up rolling it off my chest to my thighs whereupon one of the gym staff helped me lift it up. Kinda funny, right? Also, it turns out benches aren't a bad cool down either since they're so isolating. I had completely caught my breath from doing the deads by the time I was done benching.
