Texas, week 4, volume
Warm-up:
good mornings and overhead squat (45, 55)
back squat (135, 155, 185)
5x5 low-bar back squat (200)
1x2 frenchies
1x10 dumbbell swing (35)
1x2 frenchies
1x10 dumbbell swing (45)
I was curious to see if the ease and flow of last week's back squats would carry over to volume work at higher weight, and it pretty much did. Stalling out a bit on the last rep of the final two sets, but felt good otherwise. Should go up next week, probably only to 205.
I think working front squats and high-bar on the recovery day helped my low-bar mechanics. Narrowing my stance feels a lot better; a too-wide stance may have been contributing to my recent knee issues.
