... And Then There Were Three...

Brett, Kenway, and I headed to TRC on Sunday while Brian was preparing for Portugal and Joana was putting in extra hours at work. It took forever to get there as there seemed to be traffic everywhere.

We started on fun times, 8- orange. Then we moved to the wall facing the desk and K an I did a new 9 that seemed way too hard.

Brett skipped the 9 and went directly to the black 12 (ouch). He figured out the first 2 moves and then worked the bottom. He followed by a few attempts at the start of the green 12. Kenway and I were afraid to be upstaged so we jumped on 12s too. I did the green (hanging on every clip except the first...), Kenway worked the start of the green and the start of the black. Brett then tried the heart 12, he passed the crux but fell past the overhang.

Then both Kenway and I managed to work the bottom of the 12, getting passed the second clip, but we couldn't pass the overhang. Both Kenway and I tried the brown 11, and we both fell 2 moves from the top. Brett whose fingertips were hurting did the long brown 9 on the other side of the arch. I finished by finally doing the brown 11 clean, and Kenway gave a try to the hearts 12.

All in all: not bad!
