Got my new Botev shoes today. Feel great, and my worry about an excessive heel turned out to be unfounded. Was pretty surprised about failing the double at 265 (I had a double at 275 one week ago). I hope I can chalk this up to going as deep as I can for transfer to the Olympic lifts.
Snatches feeling better, although the early heel rise was not solved by the shoes. I did manage to reduce the donkey kick and the backward jump. Some of the hang snatches:
