Back from the holiday

First trip back to TRC for me since the holiday break: the van transported Brian, Kenway, Eric, and (welcome) Brett.

I didn't see ost of what Eric and Brett did, but here's what I remember.

Brian and I started with an 8, then Kenway who had done a 9 while Brett past his leading test, joined us and we all did a 9. This was followed by the black 10 under the arch for the 3 of us. Then I tried a new 11b (white and blue) on which I took a nice fall. Kenway tried it next and made it look much better. Finally Brett got on it and made it look much easier than we had. Brain got back to his pink nemesis (10b). I then tried a new ungraded brown route (I would say somewhere in the 11 range) although I couldn't finish it. Brian then tried an 11 (orange on the far side of the arch). We all failed on our last attempt, all quite exhausted.

We tried a few boulder problems, but only Kenway found success on two V3s I think.

All in all, not bad after such a long break.
