PMenu WOD, Day 3, Week 2, Strength 2

Warm-up:
low-bar back squat (to 2x3x235#)

Performance Menu WOD 102208
4x(2+1+1) front squat + push jerk + split jerk (~75% of jerk; 115,3x125)
3x3 snatch pull (135,145,155)

Snuck a quick workout in. Thankfully low volume cause I'm pretty tired. Worked on widening the final foot position in the split jerk. I was previously too narrow, which contributed to some wobbliness at the heavier weights.

That's interesting that you had your stance too narrow. I typically have the opposite problem, which is I land with my feet too wide so I can get lower (and for stability).

I like that PMenu workout. I need to work my split jerks too. When you say "too narrow", do you mean you weren't splitting far enough, or that your feet were too "tightrope" as opposed to "railroad tracks" in stance? I think I have issues on both fronts...

Tightrope is my problem. That's a good analogy too, since it feels pretty precarious when the weights get heavy! I found that I could fix it by starting the jerk with my feet slightly further apart (just about shoulder width).
