Dawn of the dead(lift)
5x5 deadlift
GF: 135, 95, 115, 125, 135
KL: 175, 225, 275, 295, 305(f3)
Congratulations to Guillaume on his first ever deadlifts today. We started by going over some basic technique: shins at the bar, lower back locked in extension, weight on the heels, chest up. Working the weight up from lower weight helped his technique, the initial shooting up with the hips was gone by the later rounds. ~300 is juuust about my 5 rep max right now, think I could have pulled out that last round but the lack of chalk was making the grip difficult (standard grip, no straps) - will probably switch to mixed or hook next time.

Man, the amount of weight I can lift is humiliating... and even with that my back hurts!
Thanks Brian and Kenway for the advice.
Nice work guys!!!
Don't worry Guillaume, focus on technique, the weight will increase very quickly (at least initially).
