cooldown:
3x10 KTE

Got some OHS action in today, as well as a flurry of other things to rekindle those lifting muscles for Eric. On the 2nd set of the OHS we had a few balance issues, largely due to the 2.5# plate on one side pairing the 5# plate on the other. I really pushed the OHS to the limit for three reps; my wrists were hurting pretty bad at the end of the later sets. Eric did really well going down with enough control to go down and up, realize he hadn't gone down far enough, and then go down again to correct before going back up. Good core strength!

I always say this, but I should do OHS more often. As a complete aside, quite the flame war on crossfitnyc today.

Nice work guys! Eric said Murph was in the books for today ;-)

Enjoying the flamewar now.

Yeah, we decided on sanity rather than the Murph... especially given that I hadn't been in the crossfit mix for a while. The deadlift form felt good--going to work on getting that into shape for a CFT in a few weeks. Shoulder press felt harder than it should have, but I could have probably pushed the weight a good bit. The OHS were nice work. I worked on form and breathing--even though I think controlling my breathing caused me to dump the last rep. And I have to say I Scott really smashed the cool down knees-to-elbows. Great form and unbroken sets. My last set was finished in ones and twos...
