Warm-up:
0.5 mi run

"Michael"

Three rounds for time of:
800 m run (treadmill, incline=1.5)
50 back extensions
50 situps (unanchored)

BL: 27:23

5x3 weighted pullups (50# DB)
3x10 dips (BW)

Runs improving (<8 min/mi). Felt very tired at the end of it all.

Nice time, how'd you like those unanchored sit-ups? I think I prefer them.

And that is a freaky picture.

I think they're harder than anchored. For me, they're the slowest and hardest part of this WOD; I always have sore abs the next day.

Anchored and unanchored definitely work different muscle groups. With the unanchored, you're using your core to both lift yourself up, and maintain pulling friction between your feet and the floor. I feel like you engage the legs more with an anchored sit-up (which may explain why I don't like them)
