Another quick blast-through New Rochelle with Guillaume, Tom, and Tom's friend Rick. Quick warm-up (10+!), followed by 11s and 12s, and some V2/3 bouldering to cap it off; felt pretty good but will do a little more warming up before the fingery stuff next time. *Almost* sent the 12 up around the roof (double clutched on the R hand bump following the heel hook over the edge, tried to reset for the second throw but weighted the rope ever so slightly - damn!). That route is begging to be lead, the toprope keeps getting in the way. Footwork and body positioning is getting better, I think all the posterior chain work - DLs, good mornings, CJs - helps me heel hook and pull into the wall with my feet.

Thinking about taking that lead test soon; for anyone interested, the Rock Club offers a lead climbing clinic. I remember a flyer advertising a $60 clinic too, I'll ask about it.

I'm game if it's 60$.
