Stripping holds and falling off routes
Spent a few hours climbing at New Rochelle with Guillaume (who wants me to spread the word that he is *not* a good climber, wink wink). I was smashed, most likely from the pull-up insanity a few days ago, and struggled up some 9s and 10s (don't even ask about the 11).
Great news: the staff were in the midst of a massive effort of hold stripping, cleaning, and routesetting, which at the time included blank slates on all bouldering walls and several of the toproping walls. Seems like there will be a plethora of new routes up soon...
Guillaume is thinking of a weekly weeknight session, anyone interested?

Sure, I'd be interested. You thinking beginning or end of the week?
Smack dab in the middle, like Goldilocks: Wednesday
Coming Wed sounds awesome!
It'll be nice to hit the walls a little more frequently, I'm interested in building a little more strength and technique for the coming season if we're going to head outdoors more.
Plan right now is tentatively one weeknight and one weekend session a week, we'll see how it works. Think the weekend will work better for Eric and Scottle...
