WOD on 081007. First time doing split jerks for me and Scott. Like Brian mentioned a few posts ago, the split jerk feels quite natural, and stresses the lower back less than the push jerk. Getting the right front rack position was tricky though, in the last few reps at the end of a set the bar always seemed to dig into my clavicles no matter how I shifted it around.
