Don't bother with the ab exercises; you want core strength, get yourself a 15xBW overhead squat.
I love (love/hate) overhead squats, but they seem to hit the lower back more than the abs if I'm balanced on the way down. Maybe it's because I tend to lean the weight forward and have to fight to keep it back...
Ya, but when you get the shakes, everything is firing to keep you upright. Sadly, I get the shakes with any more than 5 reps above 105 or so.Unfortunately, you really need to be able to drop the barbell in order to really push the weights.
I've got no probelm dropping the weight, in the power rack anyways. Did you see the time in the video where she drops the bar on its end?
