First date with Isabel

Warm-up:
back squat
overhead lunge
good mornings
snatch balance / muscle snatch / hang snatch (up to 85#)

WOD 070707

"Isabel"

For time:
Snatch 135 pounds, 30 reps

I used 85# for the first 25, then 65# for the last 5, took me 35 minutes.

First time snatching from the floor. Each rep took a lot of focus to get, so this turned out to be less metabolic than I had hoped for. Still damned hard. Anyone who does this as Rx'd has some crazy strength-endurance.

Hard core, Brian, that snatch practice looks to be paying off. I feel nowhere near confident enough in my snatch to try Isabel...

Thanks! The traps and hamstrings are fried today.

I'll be in Tuesday after lab meeting for some champagne. Metcon after?

95 pound Deadlift
95 pound Hang power clean
95 pound Front squat
95 pound Push jerk
