Stupid/awesome idea

Warm-up:
back squat (low-bar; to 5x225,3x245)

Tabata intervals (8 rounds, 20 s on 10 s off):
back squat (low-bar; 135#)

BL: 12,11,5,2,3,3,4,5 = 45 reps

Front lever practice

Holy crap! How have I never tried Tabata intervals with weight? It's a wicked idea that I came across in one of Dan John's articles. He recommends front squats, but I had the stupid/awesome idea of taking the rests with the barbell on my back. That failed miserably in round 3/4, when my legs just sort of turned to jelly. Took some effort to keep my lunch down, but I should be able to beat this score easily next time. Oh, and I ripped the ass of my pants.

I think Rx'd should be with bodyweight on your back.

Hmmm, looks like Tabata deadlifts might be in my future as well.
