Scott and I met up this snowy morning at Coles for a little lifting. Was a recovery day for me so we kept the weight light and worked on form, after all the recent low-bar it was a bit of a change to move the weight forward for both the high-bar and the front squats. Felt decent, though there is still some tightness in my right knee - mostly as I dropped down.
Threw in some cleans for technique. With the light weight, we focused on driving vertically in plane and getting under the bar properly. Mixture of power cleans and full cleans; it was easier to drop all the way down after multiple reps. At first the motion of getting under the bar felt really funky and at this weight it was all-too-tempting to chicken out and just power clean it. We probably need to go heavier to emphasize the secondary extension.
