Back to bent barbells, octagonal plates and squishy floors. I'd like to blame the shitty session on the preceding problems with my gym, but I hope it was just an off day. Dialed the weight down on the snatches after dropping two at 95#. Jerks were narrow again, and I wasn't pushing my head through.
And now that I've lifted with a barbell that has working sleeves and some whip while on vacation, using a barbell that is bent, rusted solid and has no whip at all feels really terrible. Like lifting a dead weight, feels like it's fighting you the whole way up. I had no idea how nice a good barbell feels, now I wish I had never experienced it cause I'm stuck in this gym for awhile.
