Texas, week 15, volume
Warm-up:
back squat (to triples at 185#)
foam rolling hip flexor
3x5 back squat (230)
4x5 shoulder press (3x100,95)
2-2-5 deadlift (315 [hook],345 [hook],345 [w/ straps])
Squats felt great. Good hip drive on a couple of reps; I need to cue this more often. 5x5x230 next week. Press was fine, 5x5x100 next week. The last set of deadlifts nearly killed me, particularly the last rep which was really slow cause Jesus kept saying, 'It's ok to set the bar down'.
Fuck you Jesus.

Um, brian, if Jesus is talking to you maybe it's time to back off on the weight a little...
Yeah, I think I'm gonna stay at that weight for the next week ... or maybe only go up 5# ... It will all depend on how much olive oil I can drink between now and then.
