Joana & the Bananas

I knew our day in the Gunks was destined to be full of stupid humor when I snickered like an idiot after reading Kenway's email the night before,

I can do Joana at 6 and Brian at 6:30 if we want to be hardcore about it...
Ok, time for another stream-of-consciousness trip report: as with last time there was talk of elves and Iceland although this time with respect to their current financial plight, discussion of serial killers, deer masquerading as mountain lions, and the analogies of marital punishment with Nuclear vs. Chemical warfare, repeated crushing of a banana, jalepeños (nuff said), whale-humping, almond butter and jelly sandwiches, a Canadian ménage à trois, Kenway dedicating a climb to "the orphans in Africa" (but promptly falling off the second move; those poor kids), a "whiff" of spanking (that's Kenway's phrase, and I really don't know what it means although I seem to frequently have a problem understanding his slang; witness muffing and sharking), Jojo's refreshing armpits, Guillaume getting dreamy bout his favorite superhero (Mojojojo), climbing using cracks, avoiding cracks, only touching the lips of cracks, pebble pinchin', sleeping, Joana's good 'ol American boy fetish, the finer points of athletic vs. sporty, running in fields, cheesy posing with hearts, some serious traffic, and McDonald's instead of Stand :-(

Oh, and for the record, Kenway & I have bestowed upon Guillaume the title of honorary banana, hence the title (not what you dirty bastards were thinking).

I'll update with some climbing highlights when I can find my guidebook. In the meanwhile, enjoy some pics.
More here.

Brian, you conveniently forgot the potential Bryan Adams-induced makeout session in the car...

I can't believe it: honorary banana! Thanks.

I think the picture of K with the caption for the orphans in Africa is great! He does look like that Mojo Jojo image I sent.
