Got my clean back
Warm-up:
front squat (doubles to 205#)
Zercher squat (up to singles at 225#)
2-1-1 deadlift (hook grip; 315,2x365)
5x1 power clean + front squat (135)
7x1 clean (135,145,155,165,175 [f],2x175)
Time to work in more Oly-lifting. I had to coax the clean back slowly by first power cleaning and front squatting. The cleans felt surprisingly good after the long hiatus. The single miss at 175# was the result of not rotating the elbows fast enough. Originally intended to clean & jerk, but the first split jerk at 135# was so ugly I decided to devote another day to fixing that.
Deadlifts added simply for the joy of deadlifting.
15 year old 62kg(135lbs) lifter clean and jerking 140kg(308lbs)
