Texas, week 11, intensity
Warm-up:
back squat (doubles to 225#)
2x2 back squat (255)
3x1 shoulder press (115,2x120)
2x1 deadlift (365 [w], 380 [s, f])
Squats felt good, although the second rep on both sets was pretty tough. I'll take it though, considering it having made up for the stall last week. Hip flexor is a bit tight and sore, hopefully will resolve itself in a couple of days with some foam rolling. Finally some progress on the press! Decided against 125# to make sure 120# wasn't a fluke. Should be able to hit 125# next time around. A bodyweight press (~140#) isn't exactly around the corner, but it seems less impossible now. Deads sucked tonight.
In an effort to increase my caloric intake, I drank a can of coconut milk after dinner (720 calories, 660 of which are from saturated fat). Dirt cheap way to get some calories, I think it was $1.29 for a can, but I really had to fight back the urge to vomit to get it all down. I kept thinking I was drinking the stuff they throw out during liposuction.

That sounds vile.
It is disgusting. I sat on the couch for a couple of hours just concentrating on not puking it all back up. I would much prefer to eat the equivalent number of calories in butter. No joke.
