Quiet and slightly sad night of Aikido. It was my last practice with Naoto before he returns to Japan.

First class was basics.
katate-kosa tori: shiho-nage, kokyu-naga (tobikomi), kote-kaeshi

Second class began with two 4th kyu tests. Both students did well and passed but the performances were a bit rough around the edges.

Second class focused on ryote-tori.
ryote-tori (come to hold): shiho-nage, kokyu-nage (hantai tenkan), kote-kaeshi (yoko-hiraki), ikkyu (hiki-hiraki and yoko-hiraki)
